I’m a Canadian woman in my early 60s who somehow reached the age where I can remember life before the internet but still have to Google how to change a setting on my phone.
Arctic Blonde Society is for those of us who remember Sears catalogues, Saturday morning cartoons, taking 24 pictures and hoping one turned out, and leaving the house without anyone being able to reach us.
Around here, we laugh about life after 50, getting older, nostalgia, pets, marriage, everyday life and all the ridiculous little things nobody warned us about.
You’ll also meet Winston, my four-legged sidekick, who occasionally steals the spotlight and has absolutely no intention of giving it back. 🐾
I started Arctic Blonde Society because getting older gives you two choices: complain about every new wrinkle… or get together and laugh about the fact that you walked into the kitchen and can’t remember why.
I choose laughing. 😂
